Following the publication of AS and A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, as well as Core Maths, MEI has published a media release regarding the results.

MEI's Chief Executive and Director of the NCETM, Charlie Stripp, congratulated students and teachers on their achievements and welcomed the continued growth in A level entries for Mathematics and Further Mathematics and the increase in Core Maths entries. Citing the value of maths skills to students' life chances and to the national economy, Charlie also encouraged students completing the new GCSE Mathematics course this summer to consider studying maths to as high a level as possible, whether that be A level, AS level, or Core Maths.
