FRESH is a family of courses specifically designed for whole departments, including teachers of mathematics with 3 or more years' experience. It is MEI's response to such teachers' requests for short and refreshing professional development in emerging areas of interest in secondary mathematics teaching. Schools interested in hosting these courses are invited to contact the course leader Debbie Barker [email protected]
FRESH courses are deliberately designed to meet the requirements and interests of experienced teachers of mathematics, and to maximise the benefit of sharing this expertise.
Choose from a regularly updated list of FRESH titles. Combine different titles to create an individualised programme of professional development for your department.
Take away an electronic copy of resources used on the course to use within your classroom.
For schools, FRESH courses provide an efficient and affordable means of providing their mathematics departments with highly relevant professional development.
You can be assured of the high quality of our courses. MEI holds the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) CPD standard. MEI is committed to providing the highest quality of professional development and seeks to pass on the benefits of our not-for-profit pricing.
In the academic year 2016/17 you will be able to choose from the following titles to create your own programme of professional development.
