Sumaze! - An MEI and Sigma Network problem-solving app.

A free puzzle app based on resources in Integral

Sumaze! The three star winner at Tech for Teachers Awards 2018.

The Maths category was judged by Colin Foster, assistant professor in mathematics education in the School of Education at the University of Leicester, who praised the entries:
“There has been an explosion in quantity and quality of digital resources in recent years, and it is now possible to find high quality options for every maths department and teacher – all of the starred entries are very good, and just do different things – ideally, you’d have all three!”

Sumaze! is a place where

  • mathematics is learnt
  • problem-solving skills are developed
  • fun is had!

Sumaze’s puzzles involve arithmetic, inequalities, the modulus function, indices, logarithms and primes.

Sumaze is available in the App Store for iPhone and iPad and in the Google Play Store for Android.

Sumaze! is a joint project between the Sigma Network and MEI. It was designed by MEI with coding and graphics by Mathscraft.

Sumaze! puzzles can also be found in Integral, MEI's mathematics resources.
