Visualising the climate crisis competition

Posted: 29/10/2019

The AMSP are running a Visualising the Climate Crisis data visualisation competition for students in Primary school, Secondary school, Sixth Form Colleges and FE Colleges in England. We are delighted that the amazing Mona Chalabi, Data Editor at Guardian US, is judging the finalists and Clarissa Grandi, extraordinarily talented Mathematical artist and creator of Artful Maths is joining our judging panel. The winning entry will be featured on our website and we will visit your school to interview the student for a special feature in our newsletter. They will be presented with a certificate and a £25 voucher.

Taking part in this competition provides an opportunity to:

  • Teach your students about the impact of fast fashion on the climate
  • Give them insight into careers in data visualisation
  • Unleash their creativity

Try our brand new resource and get involved in our exciting competition to celebrate Maths Week England (11th-16th November) by visiting our website.
