Post-16 Maths - The improvement of maths skills in the post-16 vocational sector

Posted: 01/07/2014

MEI is involved in research on behalf of the Education and Training Foundation to find out more about what works to improve maths skills in the post-16 vocational sector. The focus of this study is to identify successful ways of re-engaging learners who have previously struggled with maths and who have reached 16 without a GCSE in maths at grade C or above. The Foundation is looking for evidence in the form of reports, previous studies, and recommendations, as well as effective classroom practice from teachers. Full details of the Call for Evidence can be found on the at ETF website.

If you are able to contribute in this way, please email responses to Matilda at the research base.com by 11 July.
