Following feedback from teachers, we realise that the wording in our position paper, published on Tuesday 15 June, was ambiguous in relation to the new 9 – 1 grading system. We certainly don’t want to add to confusion on this issue, so we have replaced the paper with a revised version to improve the clarity of that section (the text preceding recommendations 8, 9 and 10 on pages 3 and 4). Thank you to those who pointed out this problem to us. We always try to make our papers clear and apologise that the version of the paper published on Tuesday was open to misinterpretation.
