Paul is a National Coordinator for the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme, which is managed by MEI. He coordinates the Live Online Tuition programme and leads on Statistics professional development. He also oversees the Senior Team Maths Challenge and is the designated safeguarding officer for MEI.


After graduating in mathematics at Cambridge University, Paul qualified as a teacher and started his career teaching mathematics in a secondary comprehensive school in Cambridgeshire. He then moved overseas and taught in Hong Kong. He has had experience in a variety of school based roles including coordinating professional development and curriculum leadership. He was Deputy Head of an international school for 8 years and has considerable experience of different mathematics curricula worldwide. He joined MEI in 2015.
