In these networks, you will have the opportunity to share best practices, exchange ideas and inspiration, and explore fresh resources and innovative approaches to teaching. It’s a great opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others who share your passion for adult education.

Thursday, 12 February 2026 – 16:00 to 17:30
There will be four sessions taking place per academic year, each covering different topics. Each session will focus on a different topic and have speakers who will share their insights and consider the implications for an adult maths classroom.
Sessions will also feature interactive group activities and breakout room discussions, providing opportunities to collaborate, share experiences, and develop strategies to enhance your teaching practice.

Any teacher or leader of adult maths from a variety of settings, which may include adult education, Further Education, ITP, apprenticeships or the secure sector will benefit from attending this course.
All teachers in either an adult college setting or other establishment delivering a functional skills or GCSE maths resit curriculum will be eligible to attend this course.
