These resources were developed in collaboration with the National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics, funded by the Education and Training Foundation. They are aimed at practitioners from a wide range of providers, including FE colleges, independent learning providers and those working in the Secure Estate, who support post-16 vocational learners to develop their maths skills up to and including level 2.
The resources aim to stimulate practitioners to reflect on their practice and suggests ways in which vocational professionalism can be harnessed to engaged learners’ interest and help the development of their maths skills.
