Nathan Day

Nathan completed a degree in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, followed by a PGCE in Secondary Maths Education at the University of Sussex. He became an MEI Early Career Trustee in March 2026.

Nathan is a Maths and Computer Science Teacher at Nottingham Girls’ High School and is the creator of Interwoven Maths. He is particularly interested in helping students appreciate the connections that underpin mathematics, and in supporting all young people to achieve their mathematical potential. He is pleased to contribute to MEI’s work in promoting high-quality maths education for all learners.

Outside work, he enjoys singing in a male voice choir and playing Scrabble.
