Adult Maths Spotlight Sessions to support you in considering the challenges and unique strengths of your students, and build confidence and skills.
These sessions are designed to be flexible for teachers of maths to adults. Each session will focus on developing areas including practical strategy, resource and classroom challenges. From Teaching with Technology to Maths Anxiety, there is plenty to learn.

These online sessions will support you to consider the challenges and unique strengths of your students, and build confidence and real, practical strategies to keep them engaged. Our team have timed these sessions perfectly to take you through the academic year, so you receive the best support at the right times.
All sessions are interactive, evidence-informed and tailored to the realities of adult maths education.

Spotlight on Teaching with Technology in Adult Maths
This session will focus on ways to integrate digital tools meaningfully to enhance teaching, learning and assessment for adult learners. Learn how to introduce and integrate technology effectively and meaningfully into the classroom environment.

This session will offer opportunities to discuss maths anxiety as a barrier for adult learners, and introduce practical strategies to build confidence, reduce fear and create a positive culture in the classroom.

All teachers in either an adult college setting or other establishment delivering a functional skills or GCSE maths resit curriculum will be eligible to attend this course.
