This impact report showcases the transformative work of MEI in maths education across England during 2024–25. As a charity dedicated to improving maths proficiency for all, MEI’s initiatives have reached thousands of teachers and students, supporting progression from primary through to post-16 and beyond.
The report celebrates a year of significant achievements:
- Over 10,000 students and 3,000 teachers engaged in MEI programmes
- 49,200 hours of teacher CPD delivered through the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP)
- More than 55,000 students accessed high-quality resources on Integral
- 626 girls supported in progressing to maths degree courses
- 1,718 teams from 21 countries participated in the Ritangle competition
- 774,188 Oak maths lessons started by pupils
Through innovative projects, targeted support for disadvantaged learners, and partnerships with leading organisations, MEI continues to raise the quality and ambition of maths education. This report highlights the reach, impact, and stories behind the numbers, reflecting MEI’s commitment to ensuring that no one is held back by poor maths skills.
