Develop an understanding of the expectations of the adult maths curriculum.
The course focuses on the pedagogy of maths mastery aimed at teachers working within an adult setting.
You will explore the learners’ needs and how to maximise opportunities for maths mastery while learning about the principles of effective pedagogy for developing learners’ skills, including number sense, reasoning, fluency and problem-solving. You will also develop the skill to apply mastery techniques to support maths in everyday contexts.

Our Maths Mastery in an Adult Setting course will explore all the ingredients of teaching, learning and assessment needed to deliver the maths to adults, including the Functional Skills maths and GCSE Mathematics curricula
