The purpose of this page is to help teachers in Maths Progression Programme (MPP) schools complete the right forms at the right time. Use the sections below to check what information you need to provide, when it is needed, and which form to use.

What do I need to do?

Start by finding the section that matches what you need to update or request. Each section explains when to complete a form and which information the MPP team needs from you.

Teachers and MPLs

Registration with the MPP:

All teachers involved in the MPP need to be registered with the programme. Teachers who are already known to the MPP do not need to register again but we may contact the MPL to request missing information for these teachers.
Any teacher who is fully new to the programme, including those new to your school, will need to complete the New Teacher Form.

  • Use the new teacher registration form for any teacher who is new to the MPP.
  • DO NOT complete this form if you have already engaged with the MPP.

Event Registration

MPP schools will need to register for different types of events. Please use the guidance below to choose the correct route.

  • MPP teacher professional development events are only open to registered MPP teachers. The attending teacher should use the MPP teacher PD event form
  • MEI or AMSP teacher professional development events should be booked through the relevant event page or portal form for that event. The attending teacher should complete this application; these will be added automatically to your MPP school’s PD record
  • MPP student enrichment events are open to MPP schools and are for teachers attending with their students. The MPL should use the MPP student enrichment event form to book places at an event. We will contact the MPL to ask for details of the attending teachers before the event date.

You can check upcoming opportunities in the MPP events calendar, where available, before completing the relevant registration form.

More detailed guidance on the MPP Teacher PD offer can be found in the Year 3 Teacher PD framework draft.xlsx.

Feedback forms

  • The Teacher PD feedback form must be completed by all attendees within one week following all Teacher PD related to the programme.
  • The Student event feedback form must be completed by all teacher attendees within one week following all student events related to the programme.
  • The Student feedback form is also used to capture feedback from students in Years 10-13. A link and a QR code will be available in joining details for teachers to share with attending students.

Teacher expenses claims

If you need to claim approved out-of-pocket expenses relating to MPP activity, please complete the expenses form and include the required details and receipts.

MPLs Only

At the start of each academic year, the MEI MPP team will provide the MPL with a spreadsheet of students in the CRM who we expect to be enrolled in Year 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 and 13. MPLs will check and update this list and return it to the MEI team.

The MEI team will also provide a separate blank spreadsheet which will be used to list all new Y7 students and their details. If an additional pupil joins the school during the year, please submit their details using the new pupil form.

  • Use the annual pupil spreadsheet to update existing pupils and add new Year 7 pupils at the start of the academic year.
  • Use the new pupil form if a pupil joins your school part-way through the year.

If you have a very large new cohort of enrolled students in any additional year (10 or more new students), please let the team know and we will provide a spreadsheet for upload.

Annual Planning

Use the annual planning form to share your school’s priorities, planned MPP , and any support you may need during the year. This helps the MPP team plan support around your school’s needs.

School and Programme Data

Use this section to provide or update key school and programme information. This helps the MPP team keep accurate records for your school and ensure the right staff and pupils are linked to the programme.
