MEI Wins “Building Opportunity Award” at Founders4Schools 10th Anniversary Celebration

Posted on in News

We are delighted to share that MEI has been honoured with the Building Opportunity Award at the Founders4Schools (F4S) 10th Anniversary Celebration, held at The Francis Crick Institute in London.
This award recognises organisations that have played a key role in helping Founders4Schools building bridges and open doors for young people — improving their life chances through access to inspiring role models and real-world learning opportunities.

At MEI, our mission has always been to improve lives through mathematics education. Our collaboration with F4S on the Maths4Girls programme exemplifies this shared purpose. Through the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme, our team has worked closely with F4S from the very beginning — supporting teachers, developing resources, and connecting students with women working in mathematics-related careers.

Receiving this award is a wonderful acknowledgement of the strength of that partnership and the collective impact we can achieve when education and enterprise come together.

We’re proud to have worked alongside Founders4Schools to inspire more young people — especially young females — to see the value and possibilities of studying maths. It’s an honour to be recognised with this award, which reflects the passion and commitment of everyone involved.

We extend our thanks to Founders4Schools, Sherry Coutu CBE, and the F4S community for this recognition, and congratulate all the award winners who share our commitment to creating opportunity through education.
