Further Mathematics Tuition Student Terms and Conditions

What we will expect students to do each week:

  • Watch between 4-7 short videos that will introduce concepts.
  • Use other related resources in Integral (our learning platform) such as the walkthroughs.
  • Attempt the ‘level’ exercises for each week’s topic.
  • Attend the weekly online tutorial live (it will be recorded but you must make every effort to attend live and we expect near 100% attendance). This will last for 60-70 minutes and will be scheduled to start between 5pm and 7:30pm. You must tell us well in advance if you cannot make the sessions.
  • After the lesson complete the section test.
  • Submit review exercises (topic assessments) to your tutor upon request. These won’t necessarily be every week, but most weeks. You will be given deadlines for these.
  • Email your tutor if you can’t make a deadline and communicate with us regularly.

What you can expect from us:

  • High quality learning resources and supportive tutors.
  • Regular feedback on progress made.
  • Predicted grades on request subject to sufficient attendance and work completion.
  • Arrangements in place to safeguard you. The MEI safeguarding policy can be seen at mei.org.uk/safeguarding-policy. The designated safeguarding officer is Paul Chillingworth paul.chillingworth@mei.org.uk and should be contacted if you have any concerns.
