As easy as 1, 2, 3…(KS3)

‘As easy as 1, 2, 3…’ resource explores how different counting systems have developed around the world. These developments are related to everyday experiences and the need to describe quantities using words and symbols.

This resource could either be used as a whole lesson or split into shorter activities that could be used over a period of time as standalone tasks. This approach might work well throughout Black History Month in October.

These activities could also form part of a project week, or an ‘off-timetable’ day focusing on aspects of Citizenship, PSHE, Equality & Diversity, etc.
