MEI has worked in collaboration with the Institution of Engineering and Technology to produce three mathematical classroom resources, related to football.

The Build your own football team resources are suitable for Years 3 and 4 to explore statistics and decide which players they want in their team.

The Fractions of the squad resources are suitable for Years 5 and 6 to describe and create teams using fractions and percentages.

The Select a Golden Ball recipient resources are suitable for Key Stage 3 student and use data and averages to decide who should be awarded the Golden Ball.
