Teaching Functional Skills Maths (live online)
Overview
Teaching Functional Skills Maths (TFSM) is designed for those teaching Functional Skills Maths in a post-16 setting. The course is run by experienced Functional Skills Maths teachers and will support you to improve your subject knowledge and learn more about the principles of effective pedagogy.
The course consists of 10 online study sessions, which you will be expected to join via an internet-connected computer or tablet, using Zoom. Participants will explore effective teaching and learning strategies, plan and prepare teaching sessions and develop approaches to engage and stretch students within Functional Skills Maths.
