Teaching GCSE Mathematics

Posted on in News

Are you new to teaching GCSE maths or want to improve your subject knowledge?

Do you have teachers who will be starting to teach GCSE maths for the first time in September?

Our Teaching GCSE Mathematics courses will give you the opportunity to engage in complex questions and concepts common within the classroom. You will discuss strategies and pedagogical approaches for different mathematical topics that will suit students’ needs while considering different ways of thinking about the subject. While working on the subject, knowledge enhances your teaching of the subject.

We have two courses running, starting in September:

Teaching GCSE Mathematics: Number, Geometry and Statistics (TGM:NGS)

Teaching GCSE Mathematics: Algebra, Ratio and Probability (TGM:ARP)

Each course will focus on the teaching of specific topics within the GCSE Mathematics curriculum. The sessions will allow you to collaborate with fellow teachers by working through problems guided by our team of experts.

We advise that you choose one course to participate in at a time. We run the courses throughout the academic year, so you will have the opportunity to study both aspects of the course if you are with us. The courses can be followed in either order.
