COURSE OVERVIEW

Support your high-attaining Year 12 and Year 13 students to reach an A* in A level Mathematics and Further Mathematics.

The course explores a blend of deep subject knowledge and high-impact classroom strategies.

The masterclass is part of the mA*ths and Further mA*ths Programme and is designed to strengthen your teaching approaches so that students can work confidently with the depth, fluency and problem-solving required to achieve A* at A level.

During the day, there will be three breakout sessions, where you will have the choice of Year 12, Year 13 Mathematics, or Further Mathematics focus. The masterclass is intended to be complemented by the on-demand modules available as part of this programme, and we recommend completing at least one before attending the day.

Only teachers from state-funded schools and colleges are eligible for a place on the on-demand courses and to attend the masterclass.

Please note: that due to funding restrictions, these courses will not be available to teachers from other establishments and applications will be rejected.

The masterclass will be held in person at Imperial College London.

You will receive details of how to get to the venue as part of your application confirmation.

There is no limit on how many on-demand courses you can do. Each course will have a Year 12 section and a Year 13 section. You can sign up to do as many of the courses as you wish.

We only ask that you complete at least one of the on-demand courses before you attend the masterclass.
