This is a lesson to support Year 7 students in becoming
more familiar with some key features of calculators and encourage appropriate and effective use.
The activities can be used in isolation or across several lessons. A PowerPoint to support the
activities is also available.
The lesson contains a series of activities which broaden the range of functions used on the
calculator and involve different aspects of mathematical reasoning.
