Significant Figures – Top Trumps

Our Significant Figures resource is designed to raise awareness of lesser-known mathematicians and to uncover the sometimes murky history of mathematicians that feature in the curriculum.

This easy-to-use “Top Trumps” style resource will engage your students by presenting them with short biographies and AI generated ratings for fame, impact, and integrity. Students are encouraged to discuss whether they agree or disagree with these ratings.

For each mathematician, we have also included a short activity which directly links their work to the Key Stage 3 or 4 Curriculum.
