MEI has recently released a fantastic set of free interactive classroom activities to support maths recovery at Key Stage 3.

The resources are divided into topics and units. Each unit includes a series of lessons comprising of a GeoGebra activity for use during the lesson and a GeoGebra activity suitable for independent student learning. Each lesson also comes with a lesson plan detailing the planning behind each question in the activities, together with the answers.

The first full topic is now available and focuses on algebra. It aims to introduce students to key aspects of algebra including expressions, equations, inequalities, and linear relationships.

Over the coming months the topics available will be expanded to include number, geometry and measure, and ratio.

MEI is investing its own charitable reserves to develop these resources to support schools with Covid recovery and beyond.
