Overview

This session will explore how technology can be used effectively in teaching maths to adults. We will focus on ways to integrate digital tools meaningfully to enhance teaching, learning and assessment. We’ll also consider how to introduce technology carefully, taking into account potential limitations in digital skills and resources, so that its use supports rather than overwhelms learners.

The session will include opportunities to discuss and share ideas with other teachers, and a Padlet of resources will be provided.

The content of this session will follow on from our free Adult Maths Education and Skills Network session, taking place on November 13th 2025. Attendance at the network meetings is not required, though the two complement each other and work best together.
