Who will benefit from attending?
Anyone teaching adult maths – whether you’re delivering Functional Skills, GCSE or unaccredited courses– you may come from a variety of settings, which may include adult education, Further Education, ITP, apprenticeships or the secure sector - you’re all very welcome.Content
In this pilot session, we'll be focusing on inclusion. Our speaker, Rebecca Atherfold, will be looking at why maths seems harder for some people to learn than others. She will share insights from research and consider the implications for an adult maths classroom.
The session will feature interactive group activities and breakout room discussions, providing opportunities to collaborate, share experiences, and develop strategies to enhance your teaching practice.
