Overview

Join a vibrant and supportive community of teachers working with adult learners across diverse settings. Share best practices, exchange ideas and inspiration, and explore fresh resources and innovative approaches to teaching. It's a great opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with others who share your passion for adult education.

There will be four sessions taking place per academic year., each covering different topics. You are welcome to apply to as many as you would like.

Who will benefit from attending?

Anyone teaching adult maths – whether you’re delivering Functional Skills, GCSE or unaccredited courses– you may come from a variety of settings, which may include adult education, Further Education, ITP, apprenticeships or the secure sector - you’re all very welcome.

Content

Each session will focus on a different topic. Session speakers will share their insights and consider the implications for an adult maths classroom.

Sessions will also feature interactive group activities and breakout room discussions, providing opportunities to collaborate, share experiences, and develop strategies to enhance your teaching practice.

Materials and equipment

You will need a laptop or similar device to access the sessions, which will be run on Zoom.
