Overview
"Maths Horizons: Exploring Your Path" is a special edition of our Which Career? panel event to coincide with Maths Week England.
It is being hosted and run exclusively by members of MEI's Young Persons' Consultative Panel (YPCP) who are aged between 16 and 26.
By hearing from young people currently at university or in employment, students will hear about what it is like to actually study maths beyond GCSE. They will discover how maths is important to many areas of future study and work as well as the many paths that studying it can lead to.
The event is being held out of school hours so that students (and parents if they would like to) can join directly from home. Teachers are also welcome to join too!
The event will last for approximately 45 minutes. There will be opportunities to ask questions during the session, using the Q&A function.
Please note: applications will initially only be accepted from teachers. They will then receive a registration link which can be sent on to students.
