Programme Overview

The Primary Maths Subject Leadership Programme consists of three sessions tailored to support teachers in refining their approach to leading maths in a primary setting. Whether you are an experienced subject leader, new to maths subject leadership, or looking to refresh your approach, this programme offers valuable insights and strategies to support your development. 

Through the programme, you’ll learn how to employ effective leadership strategies to drive improvements in maths teaching and learning. You will also have the opportunity to reflect on your own leadership style, values, and beliefs regarding primary maths education. If you want to develop a clear and compelling vision for maths in your school that you can confidently share with colleagues, this programme is for you. 

Programme Structure

Delivered across three online sessions, this programme will feature sessions on vision and values, planning for change, and monitoring and evaluating progress. Each session will include discussions, practical activities, and the sharing of research and best practices. This will allow participants to reflect on their vision and translate it into actionable steps for improvement in their schools.
