Join our Young Persons Consultative Panel (YPCP)

Posted on in News

We are happy to announce that we are looking for new members of our Young Persons’ Consultative Panel (YPCP).

To help MEI achieve our aims, we believe that the views of young people are vital. That is why, in 2022, we established a Young Persons’ Consultative Panel (YPCP) consisting of 10 volunteer members aged between 16 and 26.

We are now recruiting new members and believe this to be a great opportunity for your current or recent students

The role of YPCP is to provide insights to MEI on specific issues relating to the student experience of maths education and provide MEI with suggestions and guidance for how the organisation could help address the issues.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of backgrounds. Our aim is for the group to be as representative as possible regarding gender, ethnicity, geographical location, background, etc. The crucial factor is that applicants are excited about working with MEI to develop young people’s futures through maths inclusion.

Please feel free to share this news article with relevant groups or colleagues.
