We are excited that Illuminate Publishing will be publishing a new Core Maths textbook for the OCR (MEI) specifications.

‘OCR Core Maths A and B (MEI)’ will support teachers and students by providing a clear progression through the content of both Core Maths specifications and is designed to create confident mathematicians able to apply their learning to a wide range of situations.

Written in conjunction with the MEI team, the textbook ensures the best possible support for the course. It covers all components from both specifications including Introduction to Quantitative Reasoning, Critical Maths and Statistical Problem Solving.

The textbook provides an innovative approach which places learning in context throughout and focuses on learning through practice, with introductory activities, worked examples and exercises throughout. Real-world examples are used to give students opportunities to apply their learning to different settings including everyday life and the workplace.

A sample chapter is now available to view and you can pre-order the book in time for its release date on 8 July.
