MEI has recently released the fourth topic in a fantastic set of free interactive classroom activities to support schools with maths education recovery and beyond at Key Stage 3.

The resources are divided into topics and units. Each unit includes a series of lessons comprising of a GeoGebra activity for use during the lesson and an activity suitable for independent student learning. Each lesson also comes with a lesson plan detailing the planning behind each question in the activities, together with the answers.

There are now 4 topics available. The topics are algebra, number, geometry and measures, ratio, and proportion and rates of change. These topics build on the arithmetic and reasoning skills from KS2 through material such as area, ratios, expressions and equations, and rational numbers. Prior knowledge is reviewed throughout each lesson and concepts are connected across the units.
