Applications are now open for our popular Data Science Taught Course, designed for students who are studying A level Mathematics or Core Maths.
The course aims to:
- Deepen students’ knowledge of the key concepts of data science, including machine learning and artificial intelligence.
- Improve students’ skills in using technology to gain insights from data.
- Provide an opportunity to learn more about data science for students who are interested in future study/careers in this area.
The Course consists of 11 weekly online lessons, starting in November. Students will be provided with supporting study material, including access to programming tasks based on a range of different contexts; however, no previous knowledge of programming is required. The course is assessed through a practical assessment task and a short examination. Students will receive an MEI certificate on completion.
