The annual Practice Interview Sessions, delivered in partnership with Magdalen College School, Oxford, are now open for Year 13 students who have been invited to interview at Oxford or Cambridge University.
These free online sessions provide students with 30 minutes of maths-focused interview practice ahead of their university interviews, helping them build confidence, practise problem-solving under pressure, and get feedback in a realistic interview setting.
Throughout these sessions, students will receive expert guidance on how to approach complex interview questions. They’ll also learn how to articulate their problem-solving process clearly and confidently – key skills that Oxbridge interviewers will be looking for. The aim is to help students feel more comfortable with the interview format and improve their ability to think on their feet.
We’d love you to let your students know about these sessions – a short practice interview can really boost their confidence ahead of Oxford or Cambridge interviews.
Key Information
- Duration: 30 minutes per student
- Focus: Primarily Mathematics (single honours or joint honours); suitable also for other maths-rich courses such as Physics or Engineering
- Dates: Monday 24 November – Friday 12 December
Successful applicants will receive a link to Magdalen College School’s booking form to select a convenient time slot.
Note: Applications from all students are welcome, though priority is given to those from state-funded schools.
